Irene

Irene Illusia has been working as a tattoo artist since 2014. She started as an apprentice with tattoo artist Hankey Jee and worked in his tattoo shop in The Hague until the beginning of 2020. During these years Irene became skilled in line work and dotwork, which became her favourite and is now her signature style. Not only that, Irene can tattoo in many other different styles, depending on the wish of the client. As for the subjects, what appeals to her the most are nature-oriented designs, representing plants, flowers, animals; moreover, she also likes ornamental tattoos, mandalas, symbols, linework, blackwork and dotwork realism. She mainly works with black ink, or also with black combined with mixed shades of gray. In the end, what matters the most to Irene is to make her clients feel welcome and happy, and she will always pay close attention to the wishes of her clients, always striving to design the best tattoo that anyone will ever desire.

Veerle

Veerle Coppoolse is an artist who graduated in Illustration at the Willem de Kooning academy of the arts in Rotterdam. During her studies she interned at the design department of theme park the Efteling. Her drawings are realistic and slightly stylized, inspired by the refined organic shapes found in historical art movements like Art Nouveau. She loves to draw plants, animals and letters that seem to come straight out of old magical books. She loves making designs that flow with and come to live on the body. With attentive dedication she creates a beautiful unique tattoo for every customer.

Melanie

Melanie (Melancholy Tattoo) has always had a passion for drawing. Being creative is the most important thing in her life. She completed her study as an all-round make-up artist. This education gave her many beautiful experiences but deep down tattooing was what she wanted to do the most. For a number of years Melanie was a tattoo customer of Irene Illusia.

Melanie’s style is elegance mixed with boldness. She likes flora, fauna, mandalas, but also ornamental in which she likes to use solid black lines to create contrast. She is very open to new ideas. The end result is what it’s all about for her!

Melanie: “The shop is a perfect reflection of the artists styles.
The love for nature comes to life in the studio. Customers immediately feel at home!”
